PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT MEETING FOCUSES ON PASSENGER TRAINS When Transport 2000 Atlantic holds its annual meeting Saturday, April 7, at the Thomas Raddall Library, Lacewood Drive at Dunbrack Street in Halifax, passenger rail will be the focus. You can see a presentation on new rail cars being introduced by Via Rail to update its Montreal-bound trains and take part in discussion about the future of passenger rail service in the Maritimes. And there'll also be information about the plan to bring commuter train service to metro Halifax with some details about how the service might work. The Annual Meeting starts Saturday at 2:00, and the presentations at about 2:45 p.m., at the Thomas Raddall Library. Everyone is welcome.
