The in-camera Council session that occurred last week excluding the public from effective participation is unacceptable. Questions have been raised concerning whether or not council is legally bound to choose one of the two consortias. Therefore, in order to keep sewage treatment public, and ensure the accountability of elected public representatives please attend the next Council meeting to be held on Tuesday March 27 at 6pm, located at City Hall, 1841 Argyle Street. A strong physical presence is necessary to effectively pressure Council to make the most environmentally and publically responsible decision possible. Thank you, Carly Manion Sierra Club of Canada -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- The preceding message was posted on Sustainable Maritimes (sust-mar) -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- Overloaded with email?
