Trainers operating at the community level will be part of Halifax Regional Municipality's public education programme to help residents cope with the new pesticide bylaw. Before they go into local communities to give talks, the trainers themselves will receive education sessions about ways to garden and maintain landscapes using methods that are environmentally sustainable. Please contact me if you, or any other gardener you know, is interested in becoming a trainer, to help train other people how to garden without pesticides. Or phone me if you want to know more details about the Sustainable Gardening and Landscaping programme.
