Celebrate World Fisheries Day on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 at 7 p.m. the Kaylee Hall in Pooles Corner, PEI. Guest speakers will be Dr. Irene Novaczek, marine biologist and fisheries campaigner for Eath Action on "The State of the World Fishery and the Threat of Petroleum Development in the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence" and Donnie Johnston, fisherman and president of Concerned Professional Fishers of 26A. Following the presentations, music and tall fish tales will be provided by Scott Parsons and others. Free Admission.
