Dear sust-mar subscribers, As a follow-up to the notice of the Walk for a pesticide Free PEI (sust-mar, July 16) I would like to suggest that people elsewhere use this day to organize some kind of event in their own communities. What I have in mind is say, an information table at local markets along with a press release that could be sent out to local media. I will work on a draft press release that people could adapt for their own use. Please let me know if you think you can organize some kind of event in your community to highlight WHY going organic is important. all the best, Jan Slakov, Box 35, Weymouth, NS, B0W 3T0.
