Dear Paul and list members, I am glad that <sustainable maritimes> is there. Quite a long time ago, there was some discussion on the nature of the list, and it was resolved, apparently, that there would be no theoretical exchanges. The postings were to be messages, announcements, etc. I hope I don't misrepresent here. I never agreed with this position. It is important to have intellectual discussions, so I would like the list to stress this. It seems to be coming back on its own, anyway. Also, I think it is important not to have postings from people who are hopelessly anti-environmental. There used to be a person posting, who I felt should not be part of the list. There needs to be some monitoring. There is lots of diversity on our side of the barricade! It might be worthwhile to see what the basis of unity is on <sustainable maritimes>.
