COMMUNITY EDUCATOR, Peru This position requires a social communicator with a minimum experience of five years in training and education with marginalized sectors and community leader, an ability to deal with groups, knowledge of educational methodologies for adults, knowledge of the problems of lower class sectors of Latin America, knowledge and appreciation of social work carried out by ecumenical organizations in the South, links with church and people`s networks in Canada and/or in the South, ability to relate with people who represent communities at different levels (regional authorities, province and district majors, councilors, community leaders, representatives of survival organizations, promoters of women`s committees), ability to generate work proposals that respond to the needs and interests of the community, ability to work with limited resources and flexibility to adapt to the job, an ability to be tolerant towards uncertain situations and sense of humor. 3. COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT TRAINER, Papua New Guinea Bachelor of Social Work or related degree with emphasis on community development. Experience working with community groups, first nations people, womens groups or youth. Familiarity with small enterprise development and micro credit schemes.
