Hi Greta. Unfortunately there is a problem affecting the modems of the new Apples so they have difficulty connecting to Chebucto. You can go into the Modem properties and select V.42 rather than V.90 or V.92. This will result in slower connections if it works. We contacted Apple Canada about this issue last October and at their request gave them a record of an affected Apple computer trying to connect to our service. To date we have heard no response from Apple. You might want to try to contact them yourself as you are a paying customer and might get some results from them. Apple Canada has a 1-800 number in the phone book and our communications with them last October was listed as case # 53146503.
