Hello everyone, In our efforts to undertake some changes in the management of our IPs, the following is my understanding of what was agreed to at last Tuesday's meeting (on the 2nd) where some members from ccn-tech, ccn-ip and some editors were in attendance. Also, although it wasn't formally discussed, a further meeting to follow-up on these tasks and to discuss further plans and/or actions to be taken is now being proposed for May 23, 6:30, Rm 10, Chase (?). *The office would provide it's Admin tool requirements for improved IPDB functionality to ccn-tech. In the meantime, the office will continue to proceed in using its new IP registration process until such time that the IPDB would be enhanced and made more functional with a database interface. *Michael Smith would review the new IP template that Andrew drew up, make any modifications necessary and provide to the Editors who were present to see how it works for their various pages/sections (Jonathan, Mark, , Mike, Ed). *The IP Editors present would implement the new template for their sections and review the results. Once accomplished, information would be shared with other Editors to implement. *Jeff Warnica would determine a key search engine tool that Chebucto might be able to implement, that would be able to be modified to meet our own subject search tree requirements and further external links to searching within the community. *Michael Smith would develop a link to send mail from the WebMail interface off the new homepage design and let Andrew know when it is functional. When it is ready, the new homepage would be put up. *Andrew would implemented an alphabetical listing for all our active IP accounts, linked from the homepage. He would also develop an 'About Chebucto' link off the homepage where membership, board and committee information would reside.
