motd editing

It never occurred to me that editing access to 'editors' and 'motd' were
part of the same edit group, since there is no direct correlation in the
composition of the two groups. Overlap, since several people wear more
than one CCN 'hat', but separate tasks.

I suspect if my "on again/off again"  access to editing the motd over the
last few years may have been compounded by the overlap of the two lists,
now quite distinct.

I am delighted to hear that we now have a stable solution, and that
nothing can possibly go wrong ever again.  Can I get that in writing?
