Hi Marilyn

Andrew's summary is a good analysis of last year's IP participation. I
might addn that the process didn't provide sufficient time perform all the
necessary management steps. This year we would be faced with the same
problem if we tried to involve IP's at this late stage.

There may, however, be Area Editors who may want to showcase one or more
IP's within their bailiwick. Michael demonstrated the Metro Transit site
last year, for example.

If we are going to showcase IP's this year, I would suggest the
that the IP to be demonstrated be downloaded to a CD, so that a
communications link would be unnecessary.

Alternatively, we could promote the benefits and capabilities of CCN to
information providers - e.g. Webcam, photo galleries, subject discussion
areas (Point Pleasant Park), features editor, featured IP, etc. We have
examples within the site to use for demonstration.
