All I did to create subject.shtml was cut and paste the subtitles and was planning on occasionally (once every 6 months) reviewing it to keep it roughly current. Once you click on the actual headings, those subtitles become active links as the user is now at the regular editor-maintained pages. This wasn't carved in stone but merely facilitated the process of getting the new homepage up and running.
