Hello everyone, This is a nice way to end the week (re. message below)! This is the final approval for the VolNet proposal we've been working on from Bernard Chabot, the head administrator of the program. After a further reworking of some of the line items, the total budget ended up being $221,775. minus an in-kind contribution of $39,900., resulting in the VolNet contribution of $168,275. to identify, train and support 175 volunteer groups in the surrounding HRM area. The management team for this project (CCN, Metro United Way and NovaKnowledge) will be meeting late next week to begin to put an operating plan in place. We will also be assisting other related sub-delivery proposals from other parts of the province which will be forthcoming in the next couple of months. Appreciate everyone's interest and support.
