Hi folks, Recently I've been noticing a certain amount of flakiness with regard to the behaviour of our URL stats CGI routine. For instance, today when I access: http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/cgi-bin/urlstats?Culture/Shifting_Boundaries/ I get the result: Number of visits to URLs that match Culture/Shifting_Boundaries/ Yesterday: 412 This month: Last month: 3514 Now, methinks this is peculiar since just yesterday (June 30th) the monthly tally was 8,900+. Thus when I instead check: http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/cgi-bin/urlstats/Culture/Shifting_Boundaries/? DATE=1999-06 Which should yield identical results, I instead get the (correct) result of: Total accesses in 1999-06: 9406 Does anyone understand why URL stats is displaying this discrepency? It would be good to fix this problem since the latter formulation of accessing URL stats (which currently yields incorrect results) is by far and away the more common one employed by IPs.
