Hi Jane... (forgive me if I launch off into jargon here I'm thinking out loud and hoping someong on teh technical committe might be interested in this type of project...) The scripting would require attention to detail but should not be too difficult... depending on how sophisticated it becomes... such as providing the question and correct answers (and maybe some background) to any questions missed etc... This is the kind of a project that should work as a generic test... you prepare a list of questions and options and identify corrrect answer and perhaps provide a little background. 1:question:Who was the founder of Halifax? 1:answer:option2 1:option1:Babe Ruth 1:opton2:Edward Cornwallis 1:opton3:Silly Wizard 1:more_info:Viewed as a deamon by the original inhabitants... 2:question:Why wasn't it called Cornwallis? The url calls the script with your list of questions, formats the output counts the right answers and provides some additional info to the testee.... This way the same script could be used over and over without re-writing the code each time.... you simply change the text file that has the questions/answers... Maybe there's someone on the tech committee that would work along with you on this... david potter On Tue, 22 Jun 1999 as300@chebucto.ns.ca wrote: > Hi David > > Chris Majka suggested I write you. > > I now have 4 Mockingbird tests on the site. > > For 2 of them I would like to write a script or form that would make them > self-marking - use radio buttons or select, and submit, and then cough > back number or percentage right ..... > > Is this possible?
