Hi folks,

Perhaps for your interest, here is an illustration relating to how
resources on the CCN are being utilized in an educational context.

Schlessinger Media (a division of Library Media in the US) creates
educational videos & CD ROMs. They have a 162 titles in circulation. A
recent set is the 13 volume Religions of the World Series. The compile and
write printed Teacher's Guides to go with these. One component of this are
Internet Resources. They select four sites for each video that allow
teachers to extend the learning experience of the topic. In any event, for
their 50 minute Confucianism & Taoism film they've chosen my Taoism & Tai
Chi site:

http://www.chebucto.ns.ca/Philosophy/Taichi/taoism.html

This URL and a description of the site are printed in the Teacher's Guide
and are distributed with the video. You can see information on this video
at:

http://www.libraryvideo.com/product.asp?mscssid=1TA9H7173QSH2L8W00G7B2DWJPVX70R5&sku=KD6873

You can actually download the guide for free as a PDF file.

In any event, we can add this to the files viz. one example of how CCN
resources are being employed in a wider educational sphere.

Cheers,

Chris
