All in all, it would be better to have them in one location. Can I insert a plea here (too late, I'm going to do it anyway ;->): If there was some way to internally organize the archive (i.e. by month or year) this would be very handy. Some of these lists (like editors) now have upwards of 2,200 archived messages. It can be very tedious to have to scroll through huge numbers of messages each time just to get to one your are interested in since both the index files and the directory files are simply flat (sequential in one case and numerical in the other). If there was some way of being able to go to a specific month or year it would be a great asset. I don't know if this would be at all easy to implment, but if it was it would be superb. > PLEASE NOTE: The new archive index file is now... > > index.html > > rather than --->>>>>> .index.html Also good to know! > I'll try to figure out the permission problem with the editors archive and > report later today. Thanks! This will presumably also effect: ccn-comm ccn-ip ccn-tech csuite-dev csuite-doc csuite-french csuite-solaris ccn-sat cfn-funding Which are also archived in the previous location (and perhaps other lists I am not aware of).
