1000 messages in the root mailbox per day? Ouch.

Newer releases of ZMailer allow blocking mail from certain senders
(envelope SMTP senders, not From: headers) and domains, and denying
incoming mail from hosts listed on the MAPS RBL (http://maps.vix.com)
which are often hijacked to send spam.

Yesterday someone in Denver connected and tried to send a message to
several hundred local mailing lists and users, but we noticed the load
average shoot up and stopped the mail system to clean it out.
