} Hi John... we're planning to do a CSuite/Solaris install this weekend and
} are wondering if you have and more diff's that we should use.

How did it go? I meant to respond sooner, but I've been really
swamped. I did our conversion from Freeport on SunOS 4.x to CSuite on
SunOS 5.x starting in the evening on Nov. 15th, and ending in the wee
hours of the morning of Nov. 21st. There are still a number of
glitches to be worked out. I've filed bug reports for most things.
There are a few things that I discovered afterwards:

- $CS_ROOT/bin/update didn't get installed for some reason
- nntp_server didn't get specified in $CS_CONF/pine.conf.fixed
- smtp_server... (set this to localhost)
- upload/download doesn't work (still have to investigate)
- PINE only does gethostname() instead of gethostbyname(gethostname())
- a whole bunch problems with the tq subsystem
  - I've fixed everything except the idled with exceptions, patches coming
- $CS_CONF/debug had DEBUG_global set to 1 (/tmp filled up real fast)
- $CS_ROOT/lynxexec/news needed modifying
  - I liked the comments on how to enable news :-)
- Lynx is using it's internal news reader for news: URL's
  - how can I change this?

There are a couple of other things I've mentioned previously:

- who being inefficient
  - turns out that it is essentially useless
- NIS+ conversion
  - got a couple of minor glitches to work out, then send massive patch

I'm seeing a lot of complaints about people being tossed off when
they change their Lynx configuration. Is there anything that can be
done about this?
