CS_ROOT=/home/csuite LANG={en,fr} CS_DIST=/home/tmp/csdist Short Desc: Choosing a poor password during the registration fails correctly, but going back to chosse a better password, (resubmitting the form), gives the user a new login id. The problem is with the reloading of the form. Simply ^R on this step will cause the same result, (this step being ar-memopt). This occurs in both languages. Long Boring Desc: Registering for an account, the user chooses their password: >Login Account Information for Jamie English 2 > > * Your Login ID is: aa006 > * Your email address is: aa006@landon.chebucto.ns.ca > >Select your Initial Password > > Initial password: __________ > Re-input password: ____________________ > > Please Note: This information is required to use your new account. > Make sure you remember or safely record this information. > _________________________________________________________________ > > When you are ready Submit Form to Continue Registration > To start again: Clear the Form But, choosing a bad password and we get the "Go back and choose a better password" screen: > First and second new passwords do not match! Go back and try again. > _________________________________________________________________ Trying to go back with the back arrow will ask us to resubmit (y/n)? We want an account so we have to choose yes, but this sets us up with a whole new account!: > We hope you reconsider membership at a later time > >Login Account Information for Jamie English 2 > > * Your Login ID is: aa007 > * Your email address is: aa007@landon.chebucto.ns.ca > >Select your Initial Password > > Initial password: __________ > Re-input password: ____________________ > > Please Note: This information is required to use your new account. > Make sure you remember or safely record this information. > _________________________________________________________________ > > When you are ready Submit Form to Continue Registration > To start again: Clear the Form > _________________________________________________________________ How To Repeat: Follow long desc above. Not to be continually negative, but a shell account somewhere and a long night and someone could use a large number of the Login ID's. -- James Fifield <fifield@ug.cs.dal.ca>
