This could be more descriptive :
Use Control-R to get an updated progress report. Keep doing this until
the end of the report indicates that the process has finished. Expect
some "Broken pipe" messages from gzip -- they are harmless.
When I first saw this screen I did not know that there was something going
on in the background. I believed that I had to press something to "begin"
the compiling.
Maybe add a line in the beginning saying. "Compiling is now in
progress... use Ctrl-R..." or something of this sort.
This is present in a few other places. We could also mention that the
compiling will take quite some time.
