CS_ROOT /home/csuite; CS_DIST /home/tmp/csdist LANG=en user csuite is receiving mail regarding "Problem removing expired files" and "Daily Usenet report" containing messages such as /usr/lib/news/bin/news.daily: No new history files Server status: No innd.pid file; did server die? Can't send "mode" command (open failure) No such file or directory. ls: news.crit: No such file or directory ls: news.err: No such file or directory ls: news.notice: No such file or directory etc etc Also, when a guest user is logging in there is a greeting message beginning "Once you have registered, you will have access to mail and news and you..." Should we be referring to news here? -- David Murdoch
