Most functions are working well. The Unix compress gives a .gz extension, not a .Z extension, to the compressed file. The zip compress still does not allow uncompress even when the original uncompressed file is removed. This is a known condition. When tagged files are moved to a new location for user aa001 landon kills the telnet connection. The files are usually moved 1)to a subdirectory or 2) the parent directory if you use ../ as the new location; but if you try to move to the parent using the full path the files are not moved. landon is using (Lynx Version 2.4-FM) On frugal (Lynx Version 2.6) none of the compress function work but tagged files can be moved without problems. -- David Murdoch
