General update: the session is still alive. and buggier than ever

Several times an arrow key has postponed a composition in progress.
Arrow keys in general seem to trigger it more often (of course, they are
three or four characters from one key press :-)

The sibilance (multiple s ' s ) above have dumped me into Lynx setup - 
ouch

Often then the characters end up back in pine, even though nothing is
redisplayed.  More control-L's

Enough for now must check for something burning :-) :-)
