1) To NisPlus or not to? Does anyone know of a hashed passwd lib that can be used inplace of NIS/NISPlus. After the problems with > 14K users in nis and the complexities of nisplus, I would like to look at some other package. 2) CS source - In a number of packages we would like to replace the package as shipped with CSuite with a newer package off the net. After diff'ing with orginal source trees we can see that there are non comments where CSuite has modified the code. Also some of the packages are quite old and its hard to find the orginal source.
