Communications Committee

The Communications Committee will:

• Identify communications requirements (needs and opportunities) for Chebucto Community Net Society.

• Advise the Chebucto Community Net Society Board of Directors in the development of communications strategy, policies and initiatives.

• Set priorities and budget available committee resources in Communications Committee's focus will be on:
  1. those audiences which are external to Chebucto Community Net Society (such as the media, community leaders and potential allies and the community at large)

  2. associations representing these audiences (such as NPTN, SchoolNet, Coalition for Public Information, etc.)

  3. offering assistance to other committees having primary communi cations responsibilities with other groups, including but not limited to:

     COMMITTEE Fundraising Fundraising IP Training & Support Membership

     AUDIENCE Potential sponsors, sponsors Potential donors, donors Potential IP's Potential Users Potential Members

• Execute the tasks associated with Chebucto Community Net Society Communications Initiatives.
