National Sport Centre - Atlantic Canada
Sport Science Seminar
The National Sport Centre Atlantic will be hosting a Canoeing Sport
Science Seminar November 02-04/2001. The weekend will allow National Team
Staff to coordinate with local Sport Science experts to prepare a
comprehensive program of sport science to support National Team athletes
both nationally and here in Nova Scotia.
The weekend provides opportunity for the local canoeing community to
attend both information sessions as well as sessions designed specifically
for the technical advancement of the local canoeing community. Sessions
are designed specifically for athletes, coaches, executives and parents.
Masters participants and coaches, all interested in the advancement of the
sport are welcome to attend.
Please contact Angela Barrett to confirm your attendance at the sessions.
Athlete space is limited for the on water sessions so attendance will be
on a first come first serve basis.
I hope everyone in the division will find something they will enjoy
attending.
