Hi everyone from beautiful PEI!!

The fishermen are hard at work, pulling in the lobsters and oysters, the farmers are planting the crops and we are into the swing of things too, before we head out on our spring tour.

A lovely (cool) day but everyone's hard at work....neighbour Dravco and Robert are putting in a new door at their place (can you tell that Robert's hard at work with the treats I brought??!!) I did pear tree planting to go with my other pear tree, Robert's finished turning over the vegie garden, a huge task taking a few weeks. Good for him! The raspberry canes and fruit trees are about to pop and Robert has been painting the boards for his grandsons' sandbox, delivered to Halifax later this week. As well, new asparagus roots are starting to shoot up and, check out my treat for tonight....first of the season!! Now, NO DROOLING!!!!! Crack, slurp, yum!!

Not much longer before we will enjoy New Hampshire and the beautiful Whites, then Stratford with Mom and all the activities in Ontario and Montreal. Our trip is pretty well set up and it will be great to see everyone along the way. I will be checking e-mails when I can and will try to stay in touch. Take care and enjoy the springtime!
