Welcome to the IPSC Nova Scotia web site.

IPSC stands for International Practical Shooting Confederation. IPSC, pronounced "IP-SIC", originated as a sport for the development and practice of defensive use of a handgun. IPSC has since developed into much more of a sport than defensive hangun practice with a shooter facing multiple firing positions, many targets and target types, and the need to draw, move and fire. Throughout all IPSC shoots, safety is the primary concern of all.
