A special one day bus tour of all the Montgomery sites of interest is planned. Two plagues will be presented, one at Green Gables in Cavendish, which will specifically honour L. Maud Montgomery; and the other at Montgomery Manor in Park Corner, which will honour not only L. Maud Montgomery, but her grandfather Senator Donald Montgomery, and all the Montgomerys descended from Hugh Montgomery and Mary MacShannon.
The 1995 event is expected to be the biggest that the Clan Montgomery Society International has ever hosted. Participants will stay at the Loyalist Country Inn in Summerside and all the entertainment is expected to be handled by the Summerside Highland Games and Celtic College of Canada.
An extensive programme is planned, including a genealogical workshop, the one day bus tour (when the plagues will be unveiled) and a very special Montgomery Banquet and Ceilidh. The event will be held in conjunction with the 1995 Summerside Highland Games, at which the Clan Montgomery; will be the featured clan.
