On September 4, 1961, the Firth of Forth Bridge was opened by Her Majesty the Queen; this bridge, now part of a motorway, links Edinburgh with the northern cities and areas of Scotland.
{+} We have been granted permission by John Andrea of St. Francis Xavier University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, and Dick Grune of Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, The Netherlands, to use the Scottish Clan and District tartan graphics they have prepared, in the Clan homepages on this website.
