Center Details: Many people in every sector of society are facing dramatic and unexpected changes in their lives and work. Whether they are trying to keep up with change in the work place, seeking career advancement or struggling to cope with unemployment and job dislocation, continued learning is a necessity for most. For many further education and training is a key to re-entering and improving their opportunities in a rapidly changing labour market. Prior learning assessment is an excellent first step in coping with change and charting new directions. It builds practical options. It also develops the self-confidence and motivation so necessary to taking new initiatives.
