Program(s): 1) Job Vacancy Information: self serve computerized kiosks supplying job bank and labour market information; 2) Needs Determination Interviews: to determine barriers to employment and to develop a return to work action plan; 3) Employment Benefits and Measures; 4) Summer Career Placement Program: provides wage subsidies for the employment of full-time returning students. Applications for non-profit and profit sector employers are distributed, assessed, and contracted through the Bedford HRDC; 5) Bedford Human Resource Centre for Students: co-ordinates information regarding job search; students; and job vacancies in the local labour market; 6) Youth Internship Program and Youth Service Canada program.
