Center Details: The Halifax RDA strives to create, facilitate and strengthen community economic development in the rural and suburban areas of the Halifax Regional Municipality. We offer a full range of technical and advisory services designed to assist individual business.
Program(s): Business Development Services, Community Economic Development Services, Human Resource Development Services, and Other Technical and Advisory Services. Business development services provides hands-on counselling support to new and existing small business owners through: business counseling services, business networking, sourcing business financing, information and referral services, export and trade development, and business workshops and seminars. Community economic development services offers strategic planning, project development, project funding, organizational development, project management, and community enterprise development. Human Resource development services offers volunteer development, community economic development workshops, tool kits for community economic development, and the community economic development network. Our other technical and advisory services program offers volunteer services, website links, aquaculture development, information services, employment resource centers, and trail development.
