Accessibility: Center is not disability or Wheelchair Accessible. There is an elevator in a connecting building that enables us to provide access to a person in a wheelchair, but it is not easily accessible.

Center Location: The entrance to our office is on the side of the building, in the Saint Mary's Basilica parking lot, across from the public library. The program is located in the same building as Open for Business (OFB) also project of CEED. All CEED Financing Program clients are welcome to use the services of OFB.

Center Details: Resources support all levels of entrepreneurship education in the public school, university and community college systems.
Program(s): The CEED Financing Program delivers two loan programs: 1) the Young Entrepreneurs ACOA ConneXion Program Seed Capital and Counselling program, and 2) the Canadian Youth Business Foundation (CYBF) loan. 1) The Seed Capital and Counselling program provides access to character-based loans up to a maximum of $15,000. The recipients also receive entrepreneurship counselling and access to specific training. Applicants must be between 18 and 29 years of age, the majority owner of a business, and, must invest the loan in a business start up, expansion, or modernization. The goal of the program is to ensure that active and aspiring young entrepreneurs enjoy equal access to the information and capital they need to make their businesses succeed. For more information on this program, please contact Scott Sheffield at 424-4093. 2) The CYBF loan program provides loans of up to $10,000 to cover the start-up costs of a business. In special cases there is flexibility for additional support. To ease the early stages of business growth, loan repayments of three or five years are available. Services Provided: Entrepreneurship counseling; specific training. CEED has introduced more than 350,000 people to its learn by doing interactive approach to entrepreneurship through over 30 programs developed since 1995. CEED nurtures entrepreneurship in young people by undertaking, creating, coordinating and acting as a catalyst for entrepreneurship education, research and program design, professional development for teachers and others, as well as supporting community entrepreneurship initiatives. Resources support all levels of entrepreneurship education in the public school, university and community college systems.
