That was me this a.m. sitting on the deck with a woolen beret on in the cold. I've been putting extra hulled sunflower seed on the corner of the deck for a Chickadee that has been injured & is using only one leg. A two-legged Chickadee came for the seed, then landed on my beret and hopped about a bit, then went to my shoulder and started pulling on my hair. Don't know if it succeeded in getting anything, but it was a strange sensation! It reminded me of a picture someone posted here recently of a lost toque being raided for nesting material.
