Have not seen a red crossbill at feeders for years now. Nice to see some thi=
ngs about sighting etc. Seems to me, this great site has become much darker l=
ately. It is the isolation getting to all. Latest topic about bird feeding. I=
used to be a bird hunter many eons ago, then changed and =E2=80=9Chunted=E2=
=80=9D only with a camera and started observing all birds not just game bird=
s, and still have notes etc from what I saw. For almost 20 years now becaus=
e of a MVA I am in a wheelchair, my bird feeders are where I do my observati=
ons, it is the only way I can enjoy them. Why not stop and consider how many=
others do the same thing now, and not start a big dialogue on why and why n=
ow one should feed birds? W.Kettleson, Truro
