In my hurry to get word out, I mistakenly identified the duck species that has laid her eggs in Bernard Forsythe's owl box as Wood Duck. It should have read Hooded Meganser of course. I apologise for being so careless. Bernard still has not seen the lady in question but he says the eggs are white and quite round in shape, typical of the Hooded, if they were Common they would be more torpedo shaped. Wood Duck eggs are beige-y in colour and smaller. These eggs are white and round. Judy Tufts >>>>>>>> Judy Tufts Wolfville <<<<<<<<
