Spring is starting despite the world coming to a halt.

I heard wood frogs cackling the other day, though not very
enthusiastically in the cold.  A few peepers were attempting to call,
but they need some time yet.

I wonder if anyone has seen migrating salamanders yet?  I will be out in
the next rainy evening to see what may be traveling.
