Snow cover was not 100% though so something could hav= e slipped through without leaving any sign and coyotes are not that unusual= here. Saw Whet Owls are not common on our property, in 30+ years I have ne= ver heard one here and I have only one sighting perhaps coincidental but al= so mid winter.
