I remember him very well from years ago when I was pres. of the NS Bird Soc., and particularly when he took Liz and I out on his Boston Whaler around the islands in Mahone Bay on a foggy day back in the 1990s. One of his stories was how he used to drop newspapers and Xmas gifts to the residents of East Ironbound Island from his Cessna.
