Dear All,
In places sheltered from wind many Honey Bees and a few Bumble Bees
are working Aster cordifolius today. That is a great plant; bee pasture
for months and deer salad/forage until spring. To judge from tracks they
continue coming for it after the plants are dead. Probably annual, it
seems to move around, but always present and used.
