It's an isolated area I go only once or twice a year when the Speckled Trout sea-run is on. I seldom encounter anybody else. This was cut probably 25 years ago, and although it was selective cutting for large board trees, the harvesters made a mess of the brook. Then the beavers re-routed it , and it has slowly come back. The dead snags and alders have always been there, making it almost impenetrable to most people, so it's a great place for flycatcher species of every kind. Billy
