Index of Subjects I vaguely recall an article saying something to the effect that the content of cigarette butts, incorporated into nests, killed mites and other wee bugs. No surprise, I guess, but wish I could remember where I read it. -----Original Message----- From: naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca [mailto:naturens-owner@chebucto.ns.ca] On Behalf Of Marg Millard Sent: June 15, 2019 9:16 AM To: naturens@chebucto.ns.ca Subject: Re: [NatureNS] the stat that woke me up Years ago I lived in PEI and had a large garden. At a pinch penny sale I found an older book on gardening and it uses the liquor from soaked butts; to be sprayed on plants as pest control. I was a smoker at the time and used it. Very effective.
