MAY 17, 2019 =97 At Wellington Dyke at high tide, early afternoon, I =
spotted a presumed new spring arrival, a lovely BLACK-BELLIED PLOVER.

I also checked on three local bald eagle nests:

(a) Starr=92s Point =97 both adult eagles at the nest or close nearby;
(b) Lower Canard =97 one adult at nest, other adult perched not far =
away; no eaglets observed;
(c) Lower Church Street =97 one adult perched next to nest, and at least =
two eaglets were in the nest.

P.S. Another local bald eagle nest that has eaglets is at the Anglican =
Church in Wolfville on east Main Street =97 2 growing eaglets are in the =
nest, last seen yesterday or the day before that.

Another eagle nest with at least one eaglet is at Scots=92 Bay, reported =
a few days ago by Ian McKay.=
