Heard early this morning after I went outside with my dog (-13C and calm). W=
ent back out later with phone, waited less than a minute and it began again a=
nd I recorded it. See description below spectrogram.=20

Thoughts? The owls I have encountered here (E Dalhousie, Kings) include Barr=
ed and Saw Whet, probably Great Horned too. Also have Flying Squirrels. Does=
sound like recordings of an owl bill clap or cluck but can=E2=80=99t match t=
he low trill with these species although Barred are capable of anything call=
-wise. Not sure about flying squirrel vocalizations.=20

Thanks for any opinions, Nancy D
