Early this morning (4am) when I was outside with my dog I heard the chirps of a Flying Squirrel and noticed the peanut butter I smeared on a tree trunk for the Woodpeckers etc had been cleaned completely off overnight for the first time. Now that I know where they are feeding I might be able to see one to determine species. I will also attempt to get a recording. Anyone know if the Northern and Southern Flying Squirrels can be told apart by sound? Nancy D E Dalhousie, Kings Co Sent from my iPad
