I forgot to mention that I found three species within the count period toda=
y for the White Point Christmas Bird Count.

In the United Baptist Cemetery in Liverpool I saw briefly a ruby-crowned ki=
nglet. I was viewing it in my binoculars and was about to try and get a ph=
oto when it flew off. The other duck species were off the park in Brooklyn=
just before dark. I've got photos of the wood duck, but it was almost dar=
k and my camera would not focus properly. They are records of the bird onl=
y. I also was able to get photos of the northern pintail a female and of t=
he one gadwall.
