    Thanks for the note.&#160; Sad to hear of his passing.&#160;&#160; I can still remember his showing me my first Saw-whet Owl at one of his nest boxes in Springville in 1966.&#160; That was on an NSBS field trip back in the good old days when there were at least two each month, in all parts of the province, advertised well in advance in the NSBS Newsletter.&#160; Harry was the first person that I had heard of who built nest boxes for owls, and deserves a place&#160;with Bernard Forsythe in the Hall of Fame of Nova Scotia naturalists and conservationists if we ever get around to such a project.
