Bobcat. I worked in a zoo after high school and we had bobcat and cougar and I delt with both species in close proximity and got a pretty good feel for each species. In the wild I=E2=80= =99ve come across bobcats from CA, TX, NJ, and down in FL, which for one some reason are really big. I=E2=80=99ve yet to come in contact with a wild cou= gar, still searching, and every report of a wild cougar in the North East turns out to be a hoax or a miss ID. A few years back we had a pair that escaped a zoo in Maryland and roamed the coast from Maryland up to New York. That was an =E2=80=9Cexciting=E2=80=9D few weeks.
